Plan Your 2013 Vacation

There are a lot of fun adventures for everyone  in 2013. It is important to plan your vacation ahead of time so you can get the best deals for your get a way. Today a lot of companies offer great deals on vacation packages. Part of planning your vacation is knowing where to go and when is the perfect time to go.

When is the perfect time to go?

It would be nice to go on vacation 365 days a year but it is impossible especially if you have a job with hectic schedule or have kids that go to school.

It is ideal to plan on when is the perfect time to go so you can have a relaxing and worry-free  vacation. If you have kids then it is perfect to go during spring and summer breaks.

It is also ideal to go when airfare is cheap so you can save some money and have some extra spending money for your vacation.

Where to go?

There are a lot of fun and exciting destinations around the country,Southern California specifically San Diego is one of them. San Diego is known for its serene weather, theme parks and series of beaches. There are also a lot of attractions for everyone to enjoy.

Gaslamp Quarter:

Old fashioned wrought -iron gas lamps lead the way to the hottest scene in town. Rocking nightspots and a dazzling selection of restaurants give life to San Diego’s original Victorian downtown.

Embarcadero:

With it’s nautical museums, vintage ships and superb views across a harbor busy with sailboats, ferries, and battle ships, the Embarcaderolinks the city to its ocean heritage.

Balboa Park & San Diego Zoo:

People in San Diego take pride in having one of the finest urban parks in the world. Its famous Zoo, fascinating museums, and exquisite gardens offer endless activities.

Mission Bay Park:

This aquatic wonderland offers every water sport conceivable. You can also bicycle, play volleyball, jog, or nap on the grass. Excellent park facilities include boat rentals, playgrounds, fire rings, and picnic tables.

Ellen Browning Scripps Park:

Broad lawns shaded by palms and Monterrey cypress trees stretch the cliffs from La Jolla Cove to Children’s pool. Visitors can walk along promenades that offer a stunning view of the cliffs and the beach of Torrey pines.

Mission Trails Regional Park:

At one of the country’s largest urban parks, hiking and biking trails wind along rugged hills and valleys. The San Diego River cuts through the middle, and a popular trail leads tot he Old Mission Dam. The energetic can hike, up Cowles Mountain, San Diego’s highest peak at 1,591 ft (485 m).

Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve:

Archeologists discovered artifacts of the prehistoric La Jolla culture in this ancient canyon. You can also explore the adobe home of San Diego’s first Mexican land grant family. Between 2 large coastal canyons trails lead past Woodland, oak trees, chaparral and a waterfall. 12020 Black Mountain Road.

It is ideal to buy passes in advance for amusement parks or get a package deals for all attraction tickets such as SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. Buying tickets ahead of time will ensure that you don’t miss out any fun San Diego has to offer. It is also a good way to save some extra money since there are companies that offer tickets at discounted prices. After having fun in San Diego  you can also drive north to enjoy your vacation at Legoland, Disneyland, and Hollywood.
